Rebecca Gatt

Dr Rebecca Gatt is a dynamic and performance driven human resources professional. She currently occupies the position of Human Resources Director with the Archdiocese of Malta. She is responsible for developing and implementing human resource policies and strategies that enable the Archbishop’s Curia and other entities of the Church in Malta to recruit, train, and retain a high performing, motivated and diverse workforce. Dr Gatt sits on various boards of the Church to share her expertise as a human resources leader. She is a visiting lecturer at the Centre of Labour Studies, University of Malta, and her areas of specialisation are industrial relations and collective bargaining. Dr Gatt holds a Doctorate in Philosophy from the University of Leicester whereby she has conducted a labour process analysis of middle managers. She is married and has two daughters.
